POSITION SUMMARY
Relocation Assistance available up to $18,000
Pay range: $111,642/yr - $167,474/yr
Functions as the Nurse Manager for Salud Services. Assumes department responsibility and accountability for all patient care activities, department operations, and staff function as well as directs and supervises all technical and management aspects. Provides leadership and direction in accordance with the organizational philosophy and objectives. Fosters highly skilled professional practice, in accordance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and develops high functioning interdisciplinary teams. Reviews and approves nursing policies and procedures, nursing standards of patient care, and service. Assures ongoing quality improvement programs are incorporated in clinical/nursing care and services delivered to patients. Facilitates process improvement activities to meet expected quality metrics. Serves as a catalyst for change within the organization and department to advance patient care and staff engagement. Builds, and maintain relationships between patients, providers, community organizations and the vineyard/winery industry. Practices in adherence with the American Nurses Association’s (ANA) Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice for Nurse Administrators and the ANA Code of Ethics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performed majority of the time:
· Supervises, manages and directs the ¡Salud! community outreach, clinical programs, quality assurance, and staff development.
· Responsible for clinical oversight of patient care with other clinical staff.
· Oversees client access to medical services including financial assistance to alleviate barriers to care.
· Oversees the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures.
· Identifies and collaborates with other organizations and resources in the community to benefit clients.
· Oversees safety education programs to assist winery/vineyard management with regulatory compliance or business need.
· Ensures department and staff compliance with CMS regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and regulations. May be called upon to partner with other departments to lead interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring compliance with complex regulatory regimens.
· Oversees the maintenance of patient records, statistics, and reports for the purposes of evaluation and reporting.
· Ensures adherence to regulatory standards, hospital and clinic standards, and human resource management.
· Oversees coordination of medical residents, nursing and public health student rotations through the department.
· Serves as the resource person for information about the ¡Salud! Services program and the organization.
· Addresses complaints, grievances, questions and concerns from all sources in a consistent and timely manner.
· Oversees and monitors the vehicle fleet (mobile medical units and other vehicles).
· Participates in the QI process to ensure that the highest standard of care is delivered to ¡Salud! Clients.
· Reviews invoices and authorizes payments for services, supplies, or other needs required to operate the department.

· Participates in corporate programs and attends appropriate meetings to enhance communication and to assist in achieving corporate goals.
· Participates in regional professional organization(s) on a regular basis to provide professional growth.

Assigned direct reports (not limited to the ones listed):
· Lead RN, Community Outreach Health RN’s, Health Educators, Administrative Coordinator, Program Assistant, Database Manager.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Required
· Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Preferred
· Master’s degree in nursing related field, i.e. public health, health care administration.
Experience:
Required
· 5+ years of combined progressive clinical and leadership experience in related clinical areas of practice.
Preferred
· Prior clinical experience with community, mobile health, and/or occupational health experience.
· Proficiency in Epic.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Required
· Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
· American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
· Current Oregon driver’s license.

· Knowledge of medical insurance procedures and policies including state-sponsored programs
· Maintains knowledge of current OSHA, Workers’ Compensation and other regulations as they pertain to delivery of occupational health services.
· Demonstrates knowledge of hiring and compensation processes and policies.
· Flexibility in work schedule, ability to work [occasional] weekends, evening programs and travel throughout the Willamette Valley.

· Drives a company-owned vehicle as part of their job and is considered a Category A driver. Must have a satisfactory driving record which is defined as
o no more than one (1) accident and two (2) moving violations or
o two (2) accidents and one (1) violation or
o no accidents and three (3) violations on or off the job within the past 36 months, and
o no conviction for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), license suspension, auto felony convictions or other serious violations within the past 36 months.
o This employee must complete a defensive driving course within the first 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
