About the Job
Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a full-time Independent Living Skills Worker (IHSW) for our In-Home Adult program in Duluth, MN. As an IHSW, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most independent lives. Shifts include: Monday -Friday various hours 6:00am-8:30pm and then every other weekend 7:00am-3:00pm/3:00pm-10:00pm ; Respite care is on weekends and can include asleep overnights.
Salary: $18.50-19.50 per hour, reduced rate for asleep overnight hours

What you’ll do as an Independent Living Skills Worker:
As an IHS Worker, you will serve adults living in private home settings. You will help individuals achieve their maximum level of independence by providing skill training and supports needed to perform everyday tasks. - Communication

- Community living/mobility
- Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior
- Sensory/motor development
- Socialization
- Vocational and educational
- Health and wellness
For this position, you will need:
- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions and have a working vehicle
- A two-year degree in a behavioral science or related field preferred OR
- One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- To pass a post-offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report check
