About the Job
The YMCA is seeking Youth Basketball Officials for programs. This position is part time. Games are scheduled Friday nights 4:30 to 9:15PM and Saturdays 8:30AM-4PM.
Salary range: $15-$30/hour based on experience, availability and certifications. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:- Assist in officiating and parent interaction
- Ensuring games run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.
- Other duties as assigned
Throughout the year we hire basketball, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball and lacrosse officials and instructors in Boulder, Johnstown, Lafayette, Loveland and Longmont; if this season isn't a match, please check our website.
Qualifications:- Age 15 years or older
- Significant involvement and understanding of the sport
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days
- Ability to organize and engage groups of children
- Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill
- Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members
