About the Job
Harvey Waste & Recycling is looking for a safety conscience Yard Laborer to join our GROWING team in New Bedford, MA.
Hiring Immediately!
+ Earn quarterly safety incentive bonuses
+ Annual boot allowance
Job responsibilities:
+ Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
+ Traffic management.
+ Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
+ Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
+ Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
+ Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
+ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
+ 2A Hoisting License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
+ Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
