Yard Driver / Back Up Material Handler at Plastipak Holdings

As a Plastipak Yard Driver, you are responsible for safe movement and repositioning of semi trailers.

You Will

• Move trailers from yard area into assigned docks and then secures/locks trailer to assure no movement until released

• Drop trailers into assigned yard areas

• Assists in daily yard inventory of trailers

• Responds as quickly as possible, but in a safe working manner, to all calls from warehouses

• Follows all company and local works rules, safety rules and policies, BOS work instructions, and SAP standards

• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action

You Have

• Able to work overtime, as needed
• Prior yard driver experience
• Prior tow motor, forklift or heavy equipment experience
• Physical requirements includes ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
