Job Description:
The primary focus of this role is to market and sell our new Leopard catamarans built by Robertson & Caineto, to the North American and South American market.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in our office based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role will require some travel including but not limited to boat shows, open houses and yacht showings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Rapidly gain in - depth knowledge and expertise of Leopard Catamarans sail and power.
- Become proficient in the use of the Hubspot Lead Database System for communicating with prospects and generating contracts.
- Optimize prospects, following up on all leads and converting to contracts.
- Exceed sales and margin objectives.
- Conduct the entire sales process from initial contact to closing efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Develop a strong relationship with Leopard Sales Manager.
- Development and execution of marketing plan in collaboration with the Yacht Sales Marketing Manager.
- Be active participant in monitoring Leopard related and catamaran related blogs-social media.
- Attend and set-up of boat shows, trade shows and other events as required by THL Marine.
- Coordinate showing boats and visits of your clients and sea trials as needed. Travel to bases or other offices from time to time as may be required.
- Ensure all transactions are subject to a signed approval sheet by VP Yacht Sales & Ownership or Sales Managers. Attend periodic sales meetings via telephone or MS Teams and attend all training designated by THL Marine.
- Follow Company’s and department’s procedures and policies.
What we are looking for:
- An experienced sales professional, with a consistent record in either high ticket products or in the marine industry.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to expertly negotiate and communicate effectively at all levels.
- A can-do attitude with high attention to detail and proactive approach.
- Ability to understand and explain financial evaluations and presentations.
- Perseverance, self-motivation and strong work ethics.
- Ability to confidently interact with clients in person or over the phone or via email and quickly earn trust and close sales.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including late nights to reach prospects in different time zones.
- PC literate with advanced use of Microsoft Office (knowledge of HubSpot database would also be an advantage).
- Oral and written command of the Spanish advantageous.
