Summit Medical Consultants is a rapidly growing Physician Practice. We are a physician founded in 2015 and led medical group. we have expanded to approximately 120 employees (60+ providers) and are continuing to grow. If we were a hospital in Colorado, we would rank 9th by number of admissions per year. Our mission is to provide patients and their families with robust clinical services throughout acute inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, Long-term Care, and assisted and independent living stays. We coordinate with hospitalists, specialist physicians and surgeons, physical, occupational, speech Therapists, case management, and psychology at the facility level to provide compassionate and coordinated care.
Opportunity Details:
We seek a Wound Care physician to join a growing physician-owned group working in the SNF, Long Term Care, and ALF settings. Works in a consultative role with the primary care providers.
Schedule M-F
Offering base salary up to $250,000 - $300,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package to full-time providers
will consider part-time as well.

Malpractice coverage is covered through a group policy for full-time providers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices. Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number. Must apply for and maintain medical staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by the Employment Agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills, the ability to communicate clearly, a desire to work with all types of people, the ability to work as a team member, and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides medical care to assigned patient population, maintains timely and appropriate documentation of such care, and actively participates in medical staff duties. Take up the role and carry out the duties as a Medical Director for a facility of Practice's choosing. All Medical Directorships that the Physician attains are understood to have been achieved through the Practice and hence any Medical Directorship contract will be under the Practice's name. Participates in quality assurance, utilization management, and peer review programs to ensure high quality, cost-effective services. Supports practice budgetary targets.
Partner with administration and staff to support strategic and operational plans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Meets quality measures in provision of medical care. Performs related administrative functions in the clinical setting. Meets professional standards governing such services in the appropriate medical specialty. Performs in accordance with the medical staff bylaws, the rules and regulations of the Board of Medical Examiners, and the policies and procedures of practice.
