How you will make an impact:
Join our team of Nurses at The Lutheran Home! As a Wound Care Nurse you will provide specialized wound/skin care to residents which includes implementing treatment orders, assessing resident treatment needs and taking appropriate follow-up action. As a Wound Care Nurse you will directly supervise and educate nurses and CNA's to ensure residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, policies and procedures, Federal, State and Local guidelines. As a Wound Care Nurse you will support MDS Office as assigned.
Schedule varies: Full time day shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with flexibility to work some weekends and evenings
What you will need:
- Current Illinois RN license required.
- Wound care certification required
- 2 years of experience in wound care preferably in long term care required.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
