The Workplace Experience Senior Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Workplace Experience team and will be responsible for managing the site operations for the New York office, driving the WE Department’s vision of excellence, serving as a mentor to local WE team members, and acting as a trusted advisor to the WE team and office leadership, while directing the New York WE team in the day-to-day operation of the office. Please note this is an in-office position and requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:Other key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with the New York office WE team leadership as well as cross-departmental management to ensure the WE team delivers best-in-class, customer-focused service to the office population, including lawyers, paralegals, business service professionals, and external clients
- Effectively supporting the collaborative culture of the firm at all times and developing the spirit of partnership, trust, and service among the WE team
- Partnering with the global WE team on strategic planning and ensuring a consistent approach to office support and adherence to firm processes
- Collaborating with Technology & Information Services and Real Estate departments to support the ongoing development and refinement of systems focused on enhancing the client experience in the office
- Developing and recommending annual budget requirements for applicable WE expenses, including team compensation; overseeing budget expenditures and monitoring variances for the office
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Display excellent leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management of a dynamic team
- Demonstrate knowledge of budgeting and general accounting procedures
- Possess the ability to build and motivate a team
And have:
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent; a minimum of eight (8) years of operations management experience may be considered
- A master’s degree in related field, preferably
- A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible operations and operations management experience
- Supervisory experience in a law firm or corporate environment, preferably

Pay Range:USD $190,000.00 - USD $250,000.00 /Yr.
