Job Overview:

Biancofiori Masonry is seeking a skilled and experienced Masonry Foreman to join our team. As a Masonry Foreman, you will play a crucial role in managing on-site masonry projects, leading a team of individuals, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards. Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site masonry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Lead and supervise a crew of 4 to 30 individuals, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and promoting teamwork.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all workers.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and material usage records.
• Utilize software tools to facilitate project communication, documentation, and coordination.
• Operate and oversee the use of equipment such as forklifts, lulls, scissor lifts, rough terrain machinery, and aerial lifts.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks, emphasizing safe work practices and providing training when necessary.
• Use critical thinking to come up with cost savings ideas, efficiency ideas, and resolve logistics concerns.
• Ability to collaborate with team members, spot gaps in drawings or specs, and determine efficient use of equipment for jobs.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work within a 70-mile radius between Lafayette and Indianapolis locations, with an even split of time.
• Proven experience as a Masonry Foreman with a minimum of 5 years of job experience, preferably with a project scope ranging from $500k to $5m.
• Masonry experience and proficiency in performing layout and maintaining project productivity and quality.
• Strong understanding of software tools such as ProCore, Outlook, Plangrid, and Bim360 a plus.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and certifications in OSHA 30, scaffolding, forklift operation, lull operation, scissor lift operation, rough terrain machinery operation, and aerial lift operation.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Open-minded and collaborative team player.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a strong plus.
