Essential Functions
- Ensure schedules are generated and updated on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources
- Effectively fill resources engagement requests
- Ability to acquire a thorough knowledge of the skills of the staff and the skills required by the clients/projects
- Highly organized and manage multiple demands simultaneously, providing communication in real time about progress
- Anticipate engagement conflicts and identify creative alternative solutions that prioritize engagement deadlines, maximize utilization, and minimize available hours
- Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization analysis between resource managers and leaders
- Provide excellent client service by building strong relationships with partners, directors, and managers
- Prepare and analyze reports in People Planner and/or Maconomy which include requirements planning, staff availability, staff boards, and staffing by client among others
- Identify issues and trends by analyzing key metrics of billable hours and availability
- Primary point of contact for unassigned staff
- Collaborate with human resources manager to integrate new hires into engagement/project teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong metrics-focused with ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft office skills, specifically with Excel required
- Attentive to details and able to also step back and apply big picture thinking
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to listen effectively
- Work well under pressure and with a team; ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities are a must, must be organized paying close attention to detail
- Team player with desire to be an active participant within the organization
- Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments; able to multi-task
- Ability to learn processes quickly and apply the knowledge
- Three to six years progressive resource planning experience with key experience in developing people
- Experience supporting a public accounting or professional services firm preferred
- Prior scheduling experience, preferably in a professional services organization
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree or two years of experience on a specialized subject matter
- Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Effective customer service skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently
- Ability to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilities
The hourly target for this job in this market is $33.65 - $37.50. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
