Worker's Compensaton Paralegal from Atria Consulting

The Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant will support the Workers' Compensation team by ensuring the effectiveness of the law office operations and enhancing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Providing essential support to our lawyers to streamline operations.
• Facilitating treatment authorization requests from employers/workers' comp. carriers.
• Proactively identifying and addressing clients' emergent needs for treatment/temporary benefits, promptly bringing relevant motions to the attorney's attention.
• Managing front desk walk-ins and warmly welcoming guests.
• Recognizing potential retaliation/harassment claims and promptly alerting the attorney.
• Handling court calendar downloads and managing appointments for clients.
• Ensuring clients are well-prepared for hearings by generating form letters and providing directions to the court.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience as a legal assistant or Paralegal specializing in Workers' Compensation law.
• Strong familiarity with day-to-day law office operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Dropbox, showcasing your computer literacy.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, both spoken and written, is essential.
• Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on client interaction and meticulous case management in SmartAdvocate.
