Worker's Compensation Paralegal

Our client, a prominent law firm with a strong focus on worker's compensation law, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Worker’s Compensation Paralegal to join their Virginia team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal to advance their career in a collaborative and client-centered legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing a caseload of worker's compensation matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
• Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, and medical evaluations.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties to gather and exchange information.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Support attorneys in trial preparation and provide courtroom assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in worker's compensation law.
• Residency in Herndon, Virginia, or willingness to relocate.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
