Workers Compensation Paralegal at GPAC

Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for a Workers Compensation paralegal. The ideal candidate will have a min of 1 year working on workers compensation cases. 

Essential Functions:

• Direct and support investigation on all assigned cases.
• Analyze and assess case value to aid in early resolution.
• Comply with all litigation and budgeting guidelines.
• Perform legal research on relevant issues throughout the course of the litigation process.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings.
• Prepare responsive pleadings for filing with the appropriate court.
• Respond to written discovery.
• Prepare and respond to law and motion.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with the State bar is required.
• Minimum 2-9 years of experience working in workers compensaiton. 
• Strong research, analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
