Your specific duties will include:
- Responding to discovery requests, including drafting objections and creating privilege logs.
- Drafting outgoing supplemental discovery requests and tracking responses.
- Creating and updating timelines and chronologies from medical records.
- Requesting medical records and tracking responses.
- Drafting correspondence to clients and opposing parties.
- E-filing documents through the eJCC portal, including Petitions for Benefits.
- Preparing and editing "merge" forms from case management software, including motions.
- Must have experience with drafting discovery responses.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Kofax).
- Must have a working knowledge of 60Q rules of procedure for workers' compensation claims and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure related to discovery.
- Must have experience tracking billable hours contemporaneously with work performed.
- Familiarity with Client Profiles/ATO practice management software is preferred.
