Job Details
Responsibilities
- Defend client companies in workers' compensation cases.
- Provide legal counsel and representation throughout all stages of litigation .
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with support staff, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required.
- Stay up-to-date with legal trends, regulations, and case law related to workers' compensation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of legal experience.
- Member, State Bar of California.
- Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability.
- Excellent written and oral communication; and commitment to proactive case management.
