Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To apply current Workers’ Compensation knowledge and experience to audit indemnity and medical-only claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit assigned Workers’ Compensation indemnity and medical-only claims with 2023 date of loss to determine compliance pursuant to California state law
- Take necessary action to correct non-compliant claims to be in compliance
- Present audit results to management
- Maintain professional client relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience
Four (4) years of Workers’ Compensation claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· Must have active Workers’ Compensation adjuster’s license
· Must be able to provide proof of aforementioned certification and license
· Additional preferred designations: WCCA, WCCP, CPWC, SIP
Must provide own cell phone and laptop for this assignment
