Responsibilities:
As a Workers Compensation Attorney in our firm, you will:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients who have experienced workplace injuries or illnesses.
2. Represent clients in workers compensation hearings, mediations, and trials.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and briefs.
4. Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the validity of a client's workers compensation claim.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
6. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to workers compensation to provide accurate legal advice.
7. Develop strategies for complex workers compensation cases.
8. Collaborate with paralegals, assistants, and other attorneys to ensure the smooth handling of cases.
9. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Workers Compensation Attorney, the candidate must have:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in workers compensation law.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in workers compensation cases.
5. Extensive knowledge of workers compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
6. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
