As a Workers Compensation Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, and representation to our company and its employees regarding workers' compensation claims.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to our company on all matters related to workers' compensation.
- Represent our company in workers' compensation hearings, appeals, and other related proceedings.
- Develop, implement, and enforce our company's workers' compensation policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into workers' compensation claims.
- Negotiate and settle workers' compensation claims in a fair and equitable manner.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law, specifically in the finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
