Our law firm is seeking an accomplished Associate Attorney to bolster our Workers' Compensation department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, representing clients in negotiations, and advocating on behalf of clients in court. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-filing case evaluations in collaboration with supervising attorneys, assessing liability, damages, and potential legal strategies.
- Lead productive client meetings, ensuring clear communication of legal options, case progress, and client objectives.
- Prepare and file complaints with meticulous precision, adhering to California legal requirements and procedural rules.
- Skillfully manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Confidently conduct and defend depositions, eliciting crucial information and preserving evidence for trial.
- Conduct extensive case-related investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and collaborating with experts.
- Engage in substantive law and motion practice, drafting persuasive motions, oppositions, and supporting briefs.
- Assist in trial preparation, meticulously organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and ensuring procedural adherence for successful courtroom advocacy.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Personal Injury law
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
