Job Posting: Worker's Compensation Associate

Busy Chicago Law Firm specializing in worker's compensation cases is looking for a dynamic Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years’ experience Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury on defense side.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in worker's compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Manage discovery and document production.
• Advise clients on legal rights and strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
• 3-5 years of worker's compensation experience preferred.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Compensation/Benefits

• 90k – 120k DOE
• Health, dental, and vision insurance.
• 401k
