We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workers Comp Paralegal to join our dynamic team.

As a Workers comp paralegal, you will support our attorneys in all aspects of litigation. You will play a crucial role in managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting in trial preparation. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case-related activities.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Coordinate and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed.
• Track and document billable hours and assist in maintaining compliance with billing policies.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers comp litigation.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
