Title: Workday Payroll Consultant
Contract: 6+ Months (There is a possibility the work could extend beyond 2024)
Work Location: Washington, DC. (This position is 98% remote only rarely (if ever) will the consultant need to come.
Job Description:
The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills outlined in the Technology Services for Workday Payroll and Advanced Compensation configurator, with specific focuses on the below knowledge and experience:
Required Experience:
- At least 4 years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Human Capital Management(HCM) Advanced Compensation implementation, and upgrade experience as a configurator.
- Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality.
- Knowledge and execution of Workday project management methodologies.
- Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
- Experience working on agile teams and with Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes, preference of experience with ServiceNow Agile module and knowledge of HRSD.
- Strong analytical, research, and conceptual-thinking skills to visualize solutions to a wide variety of HR needs.
Desired Experience:
- Experience leading implementations specific to HCM, Core Compensation, and/or Advanced Compensation a plus.
- Workday certified in HCM, Payroll, and/or Advanced Compensation a plus.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
