Workday HCM Analyst – Permanent – Miami, FL – $140,000 - $145,000.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Time & Attendance application which falls under the Corporate Applications organization. Partner with shore and shipside business units to obtain system requirements for implementation activities, perform analysis of requirements provided, work with application vendor on testing and implementation readiness tasks, and responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Time & Attendance solution.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of the Time & Attendance system and related modules, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including human resources, payroll, and operations, to integrate the Time & Attendance system with other enterprise systems.
• Configure the Time & Attendance system to meet specific business requirements, including configuration of pay rules, shift schedules, and leave policies, where applicable.
• Manage the migration and conversion of historical Time and Attendance data from legacy systems to the new Time & Attendance solution, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline the Time & Attendance processes through system enhancements, automation, and workflow improvements.
• Stay up to date of relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to Time & Attendance, ensuring systems and processes remain compliant.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for the Time & Attendance system, including technical assistance.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor system performance, identify trends, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to implement and support the Time & Attendance solution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
Top Skills
• 5+ years of Workday HCM Analyst experience in complex, enterprise environments
• Must possess strong experience administering and configuring Workday’s Payroll Time & Attendance applications
• Must possess strong experience transforming business requirements into complex system configurations
• Prior project management experience including driving assigned projects to successful completion
• Prior experience working external vendor(s) and resources to track and manage overall project activities
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Preferred
• Workday certification would be a plus
• Cruise line industry experience highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems Management, or related field highly preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Computer Science of related field of study or equivalent combination of education, skills, and work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with Time & Attendance applications, Workday a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of timekeeping processes, including time capture methods, pay rules, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prior support experience integrating with the following applications but not limited to, PeopleSoft, Marine Exchange (MXP), and/or OneView.
• Experience with application support and implementations within a SOX environment with strict adherence to IT general controls.
• Knowledge of International Labor Organization (ILO) standards and rules, a plus.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
• Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet constantly changing timelines.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills
• Solid problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated analytical and qualitative abilities.
• Strong acumen for learning new applications and technology.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is desirable..
