Assigned Duties

1. Perform grounds maintenance, including parking lots by completing trash clean up (including trash enclosures), snow removal, weed pulling, tree and shrub trimming
2. Perform/assist with all maintenance requests accurately and within the allotted time frame. 
3. Provide Site Manager with the initialed completed request with minimal call-backs.
4. Perform inspections with manager and smoke detector inspections
5. Repairs and maintains community equipment and the physical structure of the communities as assigned
6. Responsible for care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the properties.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Property Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities.  The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities with guidance from the Maintenance Technician.  Additionally, this person is responsible for groundskeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous remodeling or construction experience.
• Ability to take direction from others and work as a team.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work independently while staying on task.
• A drive to be successful.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality. 
• Must be punctual and reliable. 

Requirements

• Must have hand tools to use on the job site. 
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. 
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
