Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Woodworking/Millwork Project Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that requires a unique blend of creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our woodworking and millwork projects, from initial planning to final execution. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural woodworking and millwork, along with a strong ability to manage budgets, maintain quality control, and lead teams effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of woodworking and millwork projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to develop project specifications and plans.
3. Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring projects are completed within the allocated resources.
4. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet our high standards and client expectations.
5. Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team, including carpenters, artisans, and other staff.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project, implementing solutions that minimize disruptions and delays.
7. Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and any changes in the project timeline or budget.
8. Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role, preferably within the woodworking or millwork industry.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in architectural woodworking and millwork.
3. Strong budgeting skills with a proven track record of managing resources effectively.
4. Excellent quality control skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. Exceptional team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
6. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, architects, and team members effectively.
8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome project obstacles.
9. A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
