“The Women’s Ministry Director at Cornerstone provides the vision and spiritual leadership for women at Cornerstone and in the community.”
This full-time position will lead the current Women’s Ministry providing strength, empowerment, and impact, creating an environment where women stand strong together and as spiritual leaders in their home and community. They will work to cultivate and build a Women’s Ministry team that is welcoming and inclusive, where women can explore their faith, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop a deeper relationship with God.
Who you are:
You are deeply relational, adept at building teams, experienced in recruiting, training, and developing volunteers in a spiritual environment. You have your pulse on what is new and emerging for women in today’s church culture. You have experience planning and leading events, creating and sharing the vision of a ministry, and being the main point of contact for Women at Cornerstone.
What you will do:
Program and Ministry Coordination
- Develop a strategy to reach and disciple women at Cornerstone and the surrounding communities, including an audience of women that are single, divorced, never been married and single parents of varying age groups.
- Develop and oversee both large group and small group settings as well as an annual calendar of events and activities that is congruent with the direction of the overall church and moves women forward in a relationship and maturity in Christ.
- Oversee Women’s Ministry programs including but not limited to: Bible Studies, Remix, Believe Marketplace, Women’s Small Church, Single Moms, MOMCO, Together Women’s Conference, Women’s Retreat, Women on Mission and Fundraising, etc.
Leading Women’s Ministry and Volunteers to Make an Impact:
- Enlist, equip, and empower a team of volunteer leaders.
- Communicate the vision and values of the Women’s Ministry and Cornerstone to all volunteers.
- Create an environment where women stand stronger together and are spiritual leaders in their community and at home.
- Create environments with strong communities.
- Encourage women to be challenged and desire community.
- Lead and collaborate with the Women’s Ministry Team to select relevant biblical topics or books for study.
- Oversee the development of a yearly Bible Study calendar with varied themes and formats, ensuring a well-rounded spiritual experience.
- Ensure that the chosen materials are theologically sounds and suitable for various levels of Biblical knowledge.
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and support to women as they navigate their season of life and relationship with Christ.
- Create environments where women care for each other in their community.
- Mange the budget allocated for Women’s Ministry.
- Ensure responsible and efficient use of resources.
Experiences you have had:
- 5+ years’ experience in fulltime ministry, at least 2 in a church larger than 2000+ members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an area of concentration that has equipped them for vocational ministry.
- Leadership/Management experience working in a large church setting of 2000+.
- History of building strong ministry teams.
- Must align with the vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
- Must be a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship who supports the vision and values.

- Self-motivated, teachable, and an eagerness to work with other teams.
- Significant collaboration skills with other teams & people.
- A self-reliant, self-starter, with the ability to innovate.
- Generates new ideas, gives direction, and assists others in working the details.
- Takes on multiple challenges and assignments and succeeds..
