Job Details
- Providing obstetric and gynecological care, including pre-natal care, well-woman exams, and other related services.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnosing and treating a variety of women's health issues based on established guidelines and protocols.
- Managing patient care within the clinic and hospital settings, including rounding on inpatients.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records.
- Educating patients and providing counseling to support their health and well-being.
Skills You Need
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program with board certification.
- Valid State of Connecticut licensure as an advanced practice registered nurse, with DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substance permits (or eligibility to obtain them).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
