Control, plan and direct all aspects of planned software updates, ensuring that only approved and validated changes are introduced.
General knowledge of every aspect of the software development process, various applicable operating systems and software application or platforms, as well as various business functions and perspectives.
This is an IT position that would be expected to be a standard 8am-5pm schedule with minimal night and/or weekend work. As these are IT positions, there may be some night and weekend work but that should be limited and not the norm.
- Translates basic business needs into application software requirements.
- Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
- Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
- Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
- Requires a BS/BA degree, 3-5 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Expectations is that role(s) will be for about 1 year and that we may convert them to FTE between the 6 month and 1 year point of the temp assignment.
Candidates must live within 50 miles of an office but will be fully remote until/if they are converted to FTE, at which time they will be subject to our current hybrid policy at that time.
