About the Job
We are looking for a Wireless Construction Manager who will be the main face in the field to represent U1 Wireless for the following markets:
- NORTH CAROLINA
- SOUTH CAROLINA
- VIRGINIA
The Construction Manager role includes field responsibilities such as managing both in-house and subcontractor crews on-site, overseeing site modifications (MODs), managing each project in the field from start to finish to ensure compliance with customer standards, and preparing Final Closeout Packages.
Responsibilities:
- Construction operations oversight: Oversee and supervise construction field operations, including in-house crews, subcontractors, and inspection activities, to ensure efficient and effective completion of the scope of work;
- Safety management: Ensure a safe environment on construction sites and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations to protect the well-being of workers and visitors;
- Project coordination and scheduling: Coordinate and schedule field activities and resources in alignment with the Director of Wireless Development to ensure the timely and successful completion of construction projects. Forecast construction start and completion dates, identify issues that may cause delays, and propose solutions to keep projects on track;
- Project management: Take direct responsibility for the overall success of construction projects, including meeting project schedules and budgets. Utilize strong construction management, reporting, and budgeting skills to ensure project success;
- Quality assurance: Demonstrate attention to quality construction practices, ensure timely closeout and delivery of project schedules, and uphold high standards of workmanship in all aspects of construction projects.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Wireless Construction Management experience;
- Experience managing projects such as new site builds, das/small cell, Site development, Civil/Electrical, RF, 4G/5GMods;
- Safety Certificates such as OSHA 30, Climb trained, Rescue trained, FACPR, Bloodborne pathogens, HazCom, RF, etc.;
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License;
- Ability to travel to different job sites within NC, SC, and VA markets.
