Handcrafted Wine and Spirits is seeking an outgoing, qualified individual to fill a new merchandiser position in the exciting Wine and Spirits industry in the Omaha metropolitan area. Handcrafted Wines is newer to the Nebraska market, but well experienced and successful with distribution operations in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Oregon. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in at the ground level, merchandising, and servicing top accounts in the Omaha metro and surrounding towns for a rapidly growing company.

Primary Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Love for human interaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, take ownership of assigned accounts, and of your work.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, as necessary.
- Create brand awareness of all HCW amazing products.
- Merchandise, maintain, prepare, and promote all HCW products in assigned territory, including customer shelves, beverage sections, cold boxes, coolers, displays, product rotation, racks, all promotional POS, fixtures, and building displays, when necessary, according to customer or sales team directions and standards.
- Manage accounts using your experience within assigned territory to ensure accounts are consumer-ready.
- Open-minded to be educated.
- Build positive, credible, long lasting customer relationships based on trust.
- Motivated, detail oriented, initiative, and well organized.
- Keep inventory of back stock maintained, clean, and organized in each account.
- Assist in developing ideas and driving incremental sales above base business to achieve company objectives.
- Take photos of completed work to demonstrate your success.
- Visit accounts regularly based on sales team plan, increase brand awareness, and capture visit notes.
- Maintains ongoing relationship with customers to ensure consistent customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis.
- Partner with customers management and associates to get the job done.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of HCW products, and correctly present and position them in each account.
- Achieve internal HCW and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
- Answer simple, step-by-step questions as you complete your daily tasks.
- Close cooperation with Sales Team within assigned territory of any administrative work, market conditions, display changes or concerns, and any other customer information.
- Manage customers, seek additional opportunities to support the customer’s needs, and support business growth by providing customers with useful information and guidance.
- Submits daily reports, as necessary.
- Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, support in-store tastings, and supplier events as required.
- This position may require employee to work evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays, on occasion and as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher education, preferred but not required.
- Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
- Must live in Omaha metro area, or willing to commute to Omaha metro area daily.
- Committed to providing a high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry, preferred.
- Able to maintain a valid and current driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Dependable and reliable transportation is required with no MVR violations.
- Able to leverage HCW technology to perform duties and responsibilities accurately.
- Proficient in using mobile devices (i.e. smartphone, iPad, etc.) and communication techniques (i.e. email, texting, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to consistently achieve goals, even under tough circumstances.
- Able to take responsibility for own actions and results.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Goal and results driven with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Travel as needed to each account within assigned territory or as necessary.
Physical Demands:
- Activity may include sitting and using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) and/or using mobile device (i.e. smartphone, tablet).
- Activity may include bending, reaching, squatting, standing, stooping, and walking throughout the day with segments up to 4 hours.
- May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 100 pounds, sometime repeatedly.
- Activity may include operating a cart, hand truck and/or pallet jack.
- Driving throughout the day with segments up to 4 hours.
