One of our clients in the government domain is seeking Windows Systems and Security Administrator

Windows Systems and Security Administrator

Hybrid – 3rd Wednesday of each month and as needed.

Location: Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:

• Windows Server 2016 through 2022 administrator skills including the following:
• Windows Updates, File Sharing, DFS, patching, Qualys report analysis, and PowerShell
• Installs, maintains, configures, upgrades, and administers hardware and software to support network administration, server administration, business continuity, information security, telecommunications and network connectivity, and SAN (Storage Area Network) administration.
• Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves customer(s) issues across assigned multiple technology domains.
• Power BI and Cloud experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Designing and administering Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Working experience in SCCM, AD, and GPO
• Working experience with multi-tiered applications running on Windows
• Working experience with PowerShell
• Provide excellent customer service and possess excellent communication skills.
• Provide documentation to BWC teams.
• Deliver Knowledge Transfer sessions to BWC.
• Recommend where possible automated approaches for implementing specific given tasks.
• Must have the ability to script in PowerShell.
• Monitoring and Performance troubleshooting.
• Skilled in documenting systems and procedures.
