Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Windows System Engineer to join their team onsite in Tampa Bay, FL. This resource will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining consistent and efficient imaging and deployment strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain various desktop and server images
- Develop and implement a strategy for managing and versioning image libraries
- Assist with the management and implementation of user profiles and group policies
- Conduct and review benchmarking results and establish standards and baselines
- Write and maintain scripts used to manage on-prem and remote environments
- Create, maintain, and review technical and project documentation
- Regularly communicate project status and progress by employing clear and concise KPIs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with desktop / server imaging tools
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with PowerShell or other modern scripting languages
- Strong understanding of modern configuration and endpoint management solutions (Intune, SCCM, Tanium, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop management, user profiles and user profile management
- Knowledge of active directory constructs and relationships (OU, GPO, etc.)
- Willingness to write, maintain, and review technical and project documentation
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks, incident / problem / change management policies / procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills are a must
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels and across disciplines
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet project deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic and high standard of excellence
