About the Job
As a Windows System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and transition to operation support for Windows-based systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and information security to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and deploy Windows server infrastructure, including planning, installation, and configuration, of Windows-based systems.
- Develop and implement security measures to protect Windows servers and network resources, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and antivirus solutions.
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration between Windows servers and the network infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
Key Skills:
- Microsoft Windows Servers including Active Directory (Setup and Management).
- Microsoft Hyper-V Standalone and Clustering (Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager would be a Plus).
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM formerly known as SCCM).
- Microsoft Windows Server.
- Operating System Installation.
- Domain Controller Setup.
- DHCP Server Setup.
- DNS Server Setup.
- Windows File Server Setup.

- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
