Windows System Administrator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windows System Administrator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, strong technical acumen, and a willingness to grow within our dynamic environment. The primary focus of this position is deploying, maintaining, and upgrading Windows desktop and server systems to support internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hybrid Active Directory Management: Oversee the integration and administration of both on-premises and Azure Active Directory environments to ensure secure and efficient user authentication and access control.
- Entra Administration: Manage identity and access policies using Microsoft Entra, maintaining high standards for compliance and security.
- Intune Device Management: Deploy, configure, and manage devices via Microsoft Intune to ensure endpoint security and policy compliance.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance of Windows servers and services, identifying and resolving issues to optimize system reliability and performance.
- End-User Support: Provide technical support to resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, procedures, and updates. Generate performance and access reports as required.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid Active Directory environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra and Intune.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Graph and PowerShell scripting for task automation.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
