Experienced Senior Windows Server System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise Windows server infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in Windows Server technologies and a proven track record of managing complex enterprise environments.

Job Description:
Experienced Senior Windows Server System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise Windows server infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in Windows Server technologies and a proven track record of managing complex enterprise environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Lead the planning and execution of server upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
- Manage and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
- Provide escalated technical support and troubleshooting
- Mentor junior system administrators and provide technical guidance
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support
- 7+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
- Proven experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization
- Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA, or newer role-based certifications)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (SCCM, Ansible)
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with security compliance frameworks HIPAA
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Advanced technical certifications preferred
