The State of Wisconsin DCF is looking for one (1) Certified Project Manager III
MUST BE LIVING IN WI FOR THIS POSITION (RELOCATION TO WI IS REQUIRED)
Top Skills:
• 12+ years in project management with strong customer service and relationship management experience
• Experience Leading Technical and/or infrastructure projects. (10 + years)
• Project documentation skills and experience to support project chartering, scoping, and other project deliverables. (10+ years)
• Phone and web based interviews will be acceptable.
• However, an in--person interview may be required.
• Interviews will be set up shortly after the posting close date.
• MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview. (One reference must be a supervisory level.)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Candidate MUST be physically located in the United States. International candidates/phone numbers will not be accepted.
• Candidate must follow ALL DCF work rules
• Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)

Remote or onsite: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change.
Project details:
As a member of Project Management team, the selected candidate will be responsible for technical and overall project management with a focus on infrastructure and application initiatives. They will develop project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts. Will work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solve complex technical problems. Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternative.
Soft skills needed: Contribute to a positive and productive work environment, problem solving abilities, effective communication skills and collaborative mindset. Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest technologies are also essential.
