About the Job
The State of Wisconsin DNR is looking for two (2) .NET Web Developer III's to work 40 hours a week.
HYBRID ROLE - MUST BE LIVING IN WI to complete the work
Top Skills (5) & Years of Experience:
• Advanced level application development skillsets including Analysis and Development within Microsoft .Net Framework. (8+ yrs)
• Coding experience in .Net framework with MVC including Angular, C#, VB.Net, Javascript and Bootstrap. (8+ yrs)
• Experience coding applications in Angular (2 years)
• Experience developing applications with Oracle backend databases including experience writing stored procedures and SQL. (8+ yrs)
• Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps including keeping work items updated in addition to code management. (4+ years)
Nice to Have:
• Experience working at DNR or in other Government agency.
• Experience working with Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.
• Experience with GIS, especially Esri JavaScript APIs.
Interview Process:
• 1st Round Interview - A virtual interview will be scheduled via Microsoft Teams with audio and camera required along with reliable internet. Audio and video must be in sync. 60 Minutes
• Top candidates will move onto next step:

- A 25-minute technical exam will be held right after the 2nd round. Camera, audio and screen-sharing are required. Applicants should ensure they are able to screen-share.
Onsite or Remote? Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI within 30 calendar days of start date. Local candidate preferred. Services to DNR must be physically completed within the State of Wisconsin including during remote work. Headquarters is downtown Madison, WI. Hybrid, On a weekly basis DNR is currently 60% remote and 40% in the office. Madison, WI. Hybrid requirement is weekly not monthly. New contractor must start on site for a five-day orientation/onboarding. Work cannot be conducted outside the United States.
Project details (project overview, who the contractor will work with, soft skills needed, etc.):
There is a need for 2 .Net Web Developer III positions to be filled. These positions will analyze, design, develop, test, implement and maintain solutions and features for applications in Microsoft .NET environment. These positions consists of new development, enhancements and/or providing support for existing applications as determined by project and maintenance priorities. There is an ongoing need. The positions will work with supervisors, project managers, business relationship managers, developers and business customers. To be successful in these positions, the developer will need to take initiative and own tasks or products along with being self-motivating including excellent communications, time management, listening, collaboration, problem solving and adaptability skillsets.

Additional Details:
