About the Job
Our client, a US-based global packaging machinery and materials manufacturer is seeking a West Coast Regional Sales Representative based in Arizona to take over an established $8-$10 million eight state (CA, AZ, NV, WA, OR, CO, UT & NM) sales territory.
The West Coast Regional Sales Representative will:
- Work from home and travel 1-3 nights a week selling solutions direct to the customer and driving sales territory growth
- Manage existing clients within the territory.
- Create strategy around target opportunities, sales pipeline, and closing business that often includes the sale of:
o Capital equipment
o Machinery leases
o Raw material supply
o Maintenance services
- 50% account management and 50% new business development. No cold calling!
- Travel primarily from LA to Phoenix to Las Vegas.
- Markets sold into include:
o E-Commerce,
o Distribution operations / 3PLs
o Woodworking/window & door
o Printing
o Automotive parts distribution
o Building materials and merchandising / display manufacturers
The ideal candidate:
- BS/BA coupled with 3-5 years of selling capital equipment or engineered solutions to process related issues.
- Will have Sales experience in any of the following:
o Packaging/Woodworking machinery
o Conveyors
o Material handling/robotic system/warehouse/e-commerce/workflow automation integration
- Must have the ability to sell large ticket capital equipment items direct to end users to improve process flow, labor reduction and on ROI
Compensation:
- $90k - $125k + Commissionon equipment and materials sold
o Uncapped and paid monthly – ability to make $200k is real!
- Car allowance
