Job Responsibilities:
As a Wellness Nurse/LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, delegate and supervise care provided by medication care specialists, and ensure our community members thrive. Key responsibilities include:
- Documenting resident status per policy.
- Supervising team members and providing direct nursing care.
- Administering medications and performing treatments or procedures.
- Monitoring resident health status and developing care plans.
- Responding promptly to resident call systems with compassion and professionalism.
- Supporting a culture of safety, cleanliness, and excellent customer service.
Wellness Nurses/LPNs play a pivotal role in creating a positive environment for residents and team members alike. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills while building meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in the state where employed.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably with individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementia.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Compassion, integrity, and a commitment to the well-being of seniors.
- Annual flu vaccine required, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
