NOW HIRING:  WELLNESS DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Responsibilities: WELLNESS DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR OF NURSING

1. Leadership and Management:

   • Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
   • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
   • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure integrated care services for residents.

2. Clinical Oversight:

   • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans for each resident.
   • Monitor residents' health status, coordinate healthcare services, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
   • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident medical records and nursing care plans.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

   • Stay current on state and federal regulations related to assisted living and healthcare services.
   • Implement and enforce compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
   • Collaborate with the facility's leadership team to address any regulatory concerns or inspections.

4. Quality Improvement:

   • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction.
   • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in nursing practices.

5. Staff Training and Development:

   • Develop and implement ongoing training programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
   • Provide mentorship and guidance to support professional development within the nursing team.

6. Emergency Preparedness:

   • Develop and implement emergency response plans for healthcare situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
   • Participate in regular drills and training exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations.

Qualifications: WELLNESS DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR OF NURSING

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unrestricted license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven experience in nursing leadership, preferably in assisted living or a similar senior care setting.
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing healthcare in assisted living facilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate and resident-centered care.
• Ability to adapt to changing healthcare trends and best practices.
