Wellness Coordinator - Community and Family Resources

Community and Family Resources is seeking a full-time Wellness Coordinator to coordinate and facilitate wellness activities for our clients in our residential substance use treatment program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead daily wellness activities to include various exercise classes and youth physical education classes.
- Work closely with the Addiction Program Clinical Director and staff to develop wellness programs for clients and staff.
- Promote and communicate health programs to clients and staff.
- Analyze health programs and policies to evaluate performance, effectiveness, program improvement, safety, or policy change.
- Coordinate wellness programs, services, and activities to ensure that they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests.
- Develop coaching plan with client input and goal setting that addresses health risk and/or disease management or prevention.
- Provide resources to clients & families on healthy food choices on a tight budget.
Schedule:
- Type: Full-time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:00p
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in a health sciences field such as kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, or similar field.
- Minimum of one of the following Group Exercise Certifications: National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Aerobic Association (AFAA), Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) or other similar certification.
- Experience in creating and delivering health and wellness classes is required.
- Experience with mindfulness techniques, such as yoga and meditation is required.
- CPR certification is required.
