Welder - Urgently Hiring at Express Employment Professionals

MIG Welder – $23 – $27/hr DOE

A local Grand Forks North Dakota company is searching for a MIG Welder who will spend the majority of the workday fabricating custom racks and displays for commercial retail settings. You are going to be provided the latest equipment and have the chance to operate within a clean and climate controlled workspace.

Want to be our newest team member? You should have experience in using electrical or manual tools, along with being familiar with warehousing and delivery related processes.

You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure.

Your role is a critical area for incoming and outgoing projects for our clients. Our staff, including our welding teams will work independently, taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource for recommendations for design.

MIG Welder job highlights:

• Allows ability to develop and implement processes to reach company objectives.
• All company equipment is newer in age and has great company benefits
• Experience with metal shearing and press bending is helpful
• Experience with .35 and .45 solid core and flux core wire on materials from 16 gauge up to 1" thickness. 
• Ability to weld free hand, out of position, and vertical up required

• Perform accurate and structurally sound welds using multiple techniques.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently under minimal supervision.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment
• Experience in maintaining a safe workspace
• Two or more years in a comparable job role
