Welder (SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GTAW) at Express Employment Professionals

Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Welders with experience in various welding techniques, including SMAW, SAW, FCAW, and GTAW. The ideal candidate will work with various metals, read blueprints, and ensure high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00

Shift: Day Shift 6:00a-2:30p

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding torches.
• Perform SMAW, SAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding techniques on a variety of metal materials.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications using tools and gauges.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects on time.
• Document work performed, including any repairs or adjustments made during the welding process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a Welder with certification in SMAW, SAW, FCAW, and GTAW methods.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks.
