Typical day in the life as a Welder:

• Field welding of structural steel
• Install fabricated products in the field
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.

What are we looking for?

• Must have experience in all types of welding metal.
• Must be self-starter and be able to read and follow blueprints.
• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with basic tools of carpentry.

Experience that will make you successful in this role:

• Mig welding
• Tig Welding
• Cutting and gas welding
• Hand grinders
• Iron Worker
• Band saws
• American Welding Society (AWS) certification a plus
