Welder - Skilled Up Solutions

This is a great opportunity to get on staff with one of the premier fabrications shops in the area.

In this 1st shift role you will be working M-T 10 hour days. The hours are 2:30-11:30pm for this position. There will be a welding/fitting test during the interview process. Pay for the position is between $22-$24 an hour and will be based off of your testing results. Shift differential will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in MIG welding and Flux-Cored Arc welding techniques.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Flux-Cored Arc Welder

Salary info:

$24 - $26 / hr
