Paid Weld training 5 week program to become a full-time Welder after the training program is completed

** $5,000 Relocation Assistance ** (Newly hired employees living at least 50 miles from the Fargo plant will receive $5,000 in relocation assistance to move within 25 miles of the Fargo plant)

** Applicants are not eligible for the $4,000 sign-on bonus due to the class being paid by the company. **

Responsibilities

Welds together metal components as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, using electric wire feed welding equipment;

Manually guides gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle.

Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.

Cleans or degreases weld joint or work piece using wire brush, portable grinder.

May cut metal plate or structural shapes using oxy/acetylene torch.

May use bore repair equipment, SMA equipment and carbon arc equipment.

Actively perform work to ensure WCM criteria is met.

Other duties as assigned.

Training hours TBD -Monday thru Friday. Upon completion of training program openings are on 2nd shift 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday thru Thursday.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Acceptance into Lynne's Weld Training Program
