Weekend Licensed Respiratory Therapist. - Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing facility. The position requires a consistent schedule of 4-8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates must be passionate about working with the geriatric population and possess a valid state license. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and implementing respiratory techniques for patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiating therapies, maintaining patient records, and operating necessary equipment.
• Providing bedside treatments and conducting quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Attending IDT meetings and managing documentation and caseloads.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings is preferred.

Qualifications include a COARC accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, RRT or CRT licensure, and BLS certification.
