Hey! Senior Helpers of Sacramento has IMMEDIATE job openings. We are looking for both new OR experienced Caregivers. If you are questioning whether or not you’re qualified, have you ever taken care of a loved one at the end of life? What about a sick aunt or uncle? We take your experience and develop it to match our needs and State regulations.

So, what will you do as a caregiver??

We employ FAMILY members – we do not employ “sitters”; be expected to become part of your client’s lives by offering them opportunities for happiness such as:

• Caring companionship and conversation; our clients’ have the BEST wisdom to offer and we encourage you to connect with them to improve their quality of life
• Transportation (errands, appointments, standing hair times)
• Medication reminders
• Laundry and linens
• What would you do for your mother if she were sick? We want you to ask this question to yourself daily!!

What is ABSOLUTELY necessary to have to become a caregiver???

• Drivers license, vehicle and insurance (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL 5-10 MILES FROM OFFICE– NO long distance commutes)
• Register as HCA with the State (cost covered by employer)
• Passion to help others
