Weekday Caregiver Bradenton - Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The individual is a 26 year-old young woman in need of a caregiver to support her with personal care, meal preparation, and assistance with household chores. She enjoys playing on her tablet and occasional community outings.

This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8am-2pm, Tuesday/Thursday from 6am-8am & 2pm-4pm

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Meal/snack preparation 
• Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment 
• Supporting with activities of hygiene, dressing, grooming
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization 
• Complete daily progress notes 

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license 
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent 
• Have a Valid Drivers license 
• Are 18 years of age or older
